Admission Requirements
Current UNM Students need:
- 2.75 Cumulative GPA
- Meet with the OILS Undergraduate Advisor to discuss degree program and to work on a proposal for Technical Studies
- Submit letter of intent along with OILS application. Letter of intent should state your reasons for applying to the Program along with education and career goals.
Transfer Students need:
- 2.75 Transfer GPA
- Meet with the OILS Undergraduate Advisor to discuss degree program and to work on proposal for Technical Studies
- Submit letter of intent along with OILS application. Letter of intent should state your reasons for applying to the Program along with education and career goals.
Note to Transfer Students: To be admitted into the Instructional Technology & Training Bachelor of Science Program, a technical AAS degree or a technical certificate program must be completed or in progress with a minimum 3.0 GPA in the technical major.
Admission Procedure
Visit the UNM Admissions website for general admissions information.
- Apply to UNM as an Undergraduate Student
- Meet with the Bachelor's Program Coordinator (Zimmerman 241) for a transcript evaluation. One unofficial transcript from each college attended. UNM transcripts are not needed.
- Submit an official transcript to the OILS Program. Have the official transcript sent to:
