I would like to thank my family for making this journey possible, I will never be able to repay you or thank you enough for your sacrifice and support.  If it were not for their support, help with Spanish classes and their understanding, me completing this degree would not have ended successfully has it has.  I especially would like to thank my wife Heidi for accepting the fact that she was seemingly abandoned for the last few years while I sat at the table every night and weekend completing this work while you sat alone in the other room and I can’t wait to enjoy what adventures will come the next few years. 

I would like to thank all the OILS staff here at UNM especially Dr. Kang.  His insight and knowledge of the industry was a valuable tool in my education which I will carry into my career.

I'd like to thank the entire OILS department for giving me the opportunity to grow as a person. The program taught me a lot about the importance of mentorship, diversity of thought, adult learning, and inclusivity.
