Congratulations Graduates
A Message from Dean Richard W. Clement
Congratulations to the 2019-2020 graduates of the Organization, Information & Learning Sciences program. Although we will not be hosting you in person for a convocation this Spring we are celebrating your achievement on this special website.
Your dedication, creativity, and desire to succeed have resulted in this life changing accomplishment despite the challenges of the current situation. This is a special time for our graduates and their families and we hope you will still be celebrating your achievements in safety.
It is our hope that we can schedule a celebration sometime before the end of the year if restrictions on gatherings are lifted. Until that time I congratulate you and wish you all the best for the future.
A Message from Program Director Victor Law
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the College of University Libraries and Learning Sciences Convocation for Spring 2020 has had to be postponed in order to protect the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff as well as friends and families. However, the pandemic does not diminish the accomplishments of our graduates who have worked hard for years towards their degrees. Instead, the pandemic accentuates the tenacity and resilience of our students, as many of them have had to navigate through the "new normal."
Many people are wondering what changes will be coming in the days after the pandemic as we know our lives cannot be the same. However, I am confident that because of your knowledge and skills in instructional design, eLearning, organizational development, and with the friendships you have built in OILS, that you are ready for any challenges in the days ahead. Congratulations to all the graduates, your family and friends.
